Now entering its 28th year, this full-length ballet features a cast of dedicated local dancers who enchant audiences with Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, dazzling costumes, and imaginative storytelling.

Each December, The Nutcracker is performed at the beautiful Spanos Theatre in San Luis Obispo. Audiences are transported to a world of wonder—from Clara’s festive holiday party to the sparkling Snow Scene and the whimsical Land of Sweets. This timeless story of bravery, imagination, and joy continues to captivate families year after year.
