Tuition and award assistance for Class Act Dance families
Scholarship Application Windows
Scholarship applications are reviewed by session. Families may apply during the application window that matches the season or program they are requesting support for. Families may request one-time assistance for approved dance-related expenses, such as dance shoes, class attire, or other approved participation needs.

Application Window: June 15–July 20
Deadline: July 20
Covers: August 31–December 19 (start of the 2026/27 season through winter break)
❋ Spring Session Award
Application Window: November 1–December 1
Deadline: December 1
Covers: January 4–May 29 (Classes after winter break through the end of the season)
❋ Summer Session Award
Application Window: March 15–May 1
Deadline: May 1
Covers: Summer programming beginning June 15 (Covers summer camps, intensives, or approved summer classes)

Before applying, review the award windows above and choose the session that matches your dancer’s enrollment or program needs.

Families may complete the online scholarship application or submit a completed PDF application. Physical copies are available at the CAD front desk. Please answer each section as fully as possible so the committee can better understand your family’s needs.

Families may include supporting documentation such as proof of income, benefit letters, a recent tax return, or a brief written explanation. While not required, documentation helps the scholarship committee make the most informed decision.

Applications are reviewed by the NCDF Scholarship Committee. Awards are based on demonstrated need, dancer enrollment, and available program funding

Families will be notified within 30 business days of submission. If your dancer’s enrollment was pending scholarship approval, you will also be informed whether your dancer has been enrolled in the requested program.

If approved, NCDF will complete the corresponding payment directly to Class Act Dance during the approved award period. Approved awards apply only to the selected award period and are not automatically renewed.
What Scholarships May Support
Scholarship awards may support a variety of approved dance-related expenses. Award amounts vary based on demonstrated need, dancer enrollment, and available NCDF funding.
Please note: Scholarship support is limited and not guaranteed. All requests are reviewed by the NCDF Scholarship Committee.

Partial or full tuition assistance for approved Class Act Dance classes.

Support for required enrollment-related fees connected to the approved award period.

Assistance with approved dress code items, dance shoes, or other required class materials.

Support for approved performance, production, or competition-related expenses.

Scholarship awards are granted by session and apply only to the approved award period. Awards are not automatically renewed.

Continued eligibility may depend on attendance, communication, and participation. Families are expected to communicate with NCDF and Class Act Dance if enrollment or attendance changes.
